Pantheon
Pantheon
"Pantheon" is a marble-frozen storm of gods, myths, and heroic presence. This sleeve pays tribute to classical Greek sculpture, honoring its weight, its silence, and its gravitas. The collector wanted a timeless piece — something that didn’t just depict mythology, but felt like it belonged in a temple wall carved by history itself.

Concept

This design was built on reverence — a salute to deities and demi-gods who shaped the ancient world. The armor, posture, and sculptural features were chosen to invoke strength, wisdom, and control. The central female figure calls to Athena, goddess of strategy and war, while the lower portrait draws from the stoic weight of Hercules or Zeus.

The sketching process focused on mimicking the form and lighting of real stone carvings. Negative space was crucial — not just to shape the figures, but to give the illusion of depth and chipped marble. White highlights were preplanned as part of the flow, guiding the eye like divine rays breaking through a temple dome.

Executed over four sessions, this piece relied heavily on contrast and restraint. The artist used tight black gradients alongside untouched skin to simulate sculpted form. Layering was minimal but deliberate — letting structure and polish carry the weight. The use of white ink was strategic, amplifying the statuesque quality and adding a surreal, glowing edge.
