*Aftercare is essential to ensure your tattoo heals
The first 24 hours after getting a tattoo are critical — it’s when your skin is most vulnerable, and proper aftercare means keeping the area clean, protected, and free from friction to kickstart safe healing.
What To Do
Leave the bandage or protective film on for the time recommended by your artist.
Saran wrap: 1 max 4 hours. Absorption pads: Up to 24 hours.
Once removed, gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and mild, fragrance-free soap.
Use clean hands—do not scrub.
Pat the tattoo dry with a clean paper towel or let it air dry.
Apply a thin layer of a recommended tattoo aftercare product (like Aquaphor or a specialized tattoo balm).
Before you go sleep, wash the tattoo, let it dry and saran wrap.(don't use lotion)

Healing
/Days 2-14
Healing phase for your tattoo
Avoid SUN!
*Aftercare is essential to ensure your tattoo heals
Day 2-14 your tattoo begins to peel and scab — during this stage, aftercare is all about gentle washing, consistent moisturizing, and resisting the urge to pick or scratch, allowing the skin to heal cleanly
What TO DO
Wash your tattoo gently 3 to 5 times a day with lukewarm water and mild soap.
Always pat dry—never rub.
Apply a light layer of fragrance-free moisturizer or aftercare ointment 3-5 times a day.
Avoid picking, scratching, or peeling any scabs or flakes. Let them fall off naturally.
Wear loose, clean clothing over the tattoo to prevent irritation.
Avoid direct sunlight — Once healed , use a high SPF sunscreen.
Stay hydrated and eat well — Proper hydration and a nutritious diet help your skin heal faster and maintain the vibrancy of your tattoo.
